I didnt see anything, nor did they notify me of anything, and will keep on keeping on.
My legal analysis (do not take this to court,this is not real legal advice, I am not now nor have I ever been a lawyer) is that you simply need to attach a sidewards device and then it won’t be a rearward device and you have completely sidestepped the final rule.
Also my understanding is the ATF CANNOT make laws. So when they say federal law and cite a “Final Rule” and link you to “definitions” it says to me they are fully aware that they are not an elected official of Congress, they know they are lying to you.
And they are only enforcing the ban again because the lift on the ban is in the PROCESS of appeal.
This is exactly what is wrong with government right now, controlling definitions instead of changing laws for the betterment of the people.
The ATF has a “sub directorate”. Good grief.

if they did do that, its only cause the democRAT is about to be out of office. but ive not been contacted or seen anything official about it so oh well.
I noticed several online retailers have stopped shipping braces again. Who wants to really steal with an expensive legal battle. Sure it would get struck down in federal courts but who has the funds as an individual to battle it out. It will take an act of Congress or supreme court to get it straightened out.
Thats why this is a non -issue.
