I picked up one of these Athlon Rangecraft cronographs (uses doppler radar).

Used it to check my muzzle velocity yesterday along with my shooting partner (data not shown).
My 2 shooting strings are listed in the image.
I was having some issues with my ballistic app being a bit off. With the corrected muzzle velocity, my elevation adjustments moved into what I adusted to in the field.
I’m working out to 700 yards and now making 99% of my 1st shot hits on target, if my wind estimation is good.
I have several other rifles to check muzzle velocity on moving forward.
Overall, very happy with the Rangecraft. It hit a price point I was ok with & it sure seems to be accurate enough to confirm my hits on target.
Addendum;
Remington 700, .308, 26" barrel.
Scope was pulled prior to my last range session to see if some new rings would fit, they did not & scope was reinstalled.
Resulted in my zero correction notes above my thumb in the data image.
