Has anyone herd of bad ammo coming out of the new factory?
The old 300blk green/white box was underpowered, but haven’t heard anything about the new stuff.
Wow that’s crazy. He needs to contact them and report that batch number so they can issue a recall and a refund/replacement to him.
This has been making the “rounds” on social media lately. I haven’t seen any other “cases”. (Apologize for bad dad jokes). But it is something to keep an eye out for when purchasing.
My wife had the green and white box of .380 fail to cycle every 3rd round. 2 other types of ammo fed no problem. We didn’t even finish the box.
Were the cases cracked when received or after firing? If they were cracked as received it is just crazy they could make it out of the factory without being seen. New ownership won’t last long like that.
I used to be a huge Remington fan. My favorite hunting rifle is a 700 RSBDL in .280. Was made and purchased new in 1986 when Remington was still owned by DuPont. I also own a 870 " special purpose magnum" that came from that same era.
It is a shame to see what that company has become.
Heard a lot of hype about “big green” coming back into the ammo manufacturing, but honestly I have yet to see any of their stuff- anywhere. Not saying I’m going to go look for it, but where the heck have y’all seen it?
I see them at academy all the time. Mostly shotgun shells, but I’ve seen a bit of centerfire too.
Saw a ton today. Even more centerfire than usual. 380, 45, 30-30, 270, all sorts of hard/harder to find stuff.
Had 250 round boxes of 9mm too, but it cost more per round than the 200 round Winchester boxes.
Edit/addition oh had freedom buckets of 22. Had to grab a couple at 7.8 cents a round. Not great, but a lot of ammo at a reasonable price by post 2020 prices.
I picked up some 22lr 500 round bulk packs on 4/20/2021 for under $10,. Had come misfires and one case rupture
