It could be useful, just ask Pelosi ![]()
Nice! I really think it could be. I’m in one massive suburban sprawl. My hammer or hatchet would be more useful than, say, an entrenching tool.
I have a plate carrier. I use it when I go for jogs or do home workouts.
Pretty sure if the SHTF, I’d probably forget to even think about grabbing it. I would also be the guy that would step outside in the apocalypse all decked out for war only to get smacked in the back of the knee by an 11 year old with a log and go down like a sack of potatoes.
I’d probably fare far better in a hoodie and a pair of jeans with just my 9mm, that’s how things usually go.
Preparedness is great, space-headedness and a lack of luck trumps all. Your mileage may vary.
I agree nothing would be better than a tactical urban hammer or wait reverse that urban tactical hammer
when i had bought my belt, i also bought a universal drop leg holster for it from the same company. im not overly thrilled with it, and from what I have researched everyone says that they use the safari land holster as the gold standard so I think I’m going to go ahead and get a safari land holster for a Glock 17 that way it would cover a lot of the daggers and glocks that I would use then if I needed another holster I can quick swap it like they do with a different pistol safari land holster if that makes sense

@Don_Keedix
I was going to put my plate carrier in my truck for some range time after work last week and by the time I got the long gun case and the two ammo cans in the back seat footwells I was too sweaty and tired to carry the PC out to the truck. These warm Florida mornings can be a beast sometimes…
I wish I’d had something like this on my tool belt.

Tacticon is having a belt bundle special.
Anyone have any updates?
Mine hangs on my bed post.
Completely happy but I rarely ever use it.
Probably could have saved some money on the belt itself.
Mag pockets are tight fitting, but in a good way.
I’ve been wearing mine around the house to strengthen my legs. I need more pouches soon, so I can add more weight!
That’s a great idea T
thats brilliant. i may need todo that too myself. mine is i’ve found exceptionally heavy… i realized i may not need 2 ar mags on it, due to weight… that and my back isnt what it used to be so support of anything is multiplied by 10 to me it feels like.
I’m still working out a holster. Once I have one I may have to rearrange other items a bit to keep the L/R weight as balanced as I can. I also need to work the glutes to keep the belt up! I lost a few lbs since I got it and had to adjust it, which is some good news.
Had a thought - we can add weight in tiny increments by starting with empty/smaller/downloaded magazines. I do something like it with the collars on barbells. Each collar probably weighs 1/4lb (steel) and I have 8 or so.
Whatever my SHTF rig is for the hardware I’m using at the time, it has suspenders to help support the weight.
i need to replace my holster. I want to put a safariland holster on it, but they’re just so dang expensive. all in time though.
Looking at the cost of duty-type holsters and the limited choices I have for my pistol, I may just get a trade-in Glock.
What pistol are you running?
@useful.easy.address
i have glocks, and daggers.s. which are just about glocks.. to me. so im gonna buy a safariland half leg drop right handed holster with retention. my glock 19’s will fit, and maybe my daggers will too.. which means i have quite a selection to carry at any given time. you’d be hard pressed to find a better holster evidentially than a safariland as from my research that is the holster most folks use .. by most folks, i mea those that need to use a battle belt for their work.
