Oaky y’all, this will mainly be a home defense set up, and my “Truck Gun” for the odd coyote when I am on family land.

I am torn on what to sit on top of this when I get it in, and pair it up with one of my PSA lowers.

I have quite a few Primary Arms 1-6x LPVOs with the Nova DOT waiting for a rifle. My thought process is that this would be okay on 1x, with the dot on the brightest illumination.

I am torn between the LPVO and my Sig Romeo5. If I did get the chance to take down a coyote I think I would want a bit of magnification, to be sure of shot placement for a hopefully painless death for the animal.

Please advise!

I would go with the 1-6.

Agreed. Even with an 11.5” barrel that rifle’s range capabilities are more than a red dot alone can handle.

6x magnification should allow you to shoot accurately out to at least 300.
