Cannot find a blem anywhere except maybe the A2 flash hider (phosphated) doesn’t look ‘Nitrided’…makes me wonder if the ‘Blem’ part is just marketing approach? If PSA had that many blems they could shore up QC. …just thinking.
Paired mine with a MATech rear sight to co-witness a SLX red dot, this now very closely resembles my Del-Ton ultralite carbine in size and sights for when I take guests to the range.
My AR was also a Blem…and couldn’t find anything on it at all…granted, I didn’t go over it with a magnifying glass…but it looked pretty perfect to me
The only blem i have ever found was a scratch inside the mag well.
I’m to the point where I won’t buy any phosphated finishes to me they’re brown and inconsistent, poor match to the black plastics and anodized aluminum that completes the firearm. …it really shows nice to have the black Nitrated or QPQ upgrade.\ imo.

most times when i buy the PSA blems i cannot tell you where the blem is on the part. its that good of parts usually. In my opinion they just are that good that i cant tell with my naked eyes what the blem is on them. This is not to say that I have never seen a blem, cause i have, but most times its not visible.
im gonna have to get me. one or two of them stripped.
It must be some form of old age (80) or 3rd childhood , etc,
I don’t understand, buying a PA15 , Dagger , or such, and being concerned
with how pristine it looks. Maybe a Purdey , Williams and Son , Holland and Holland ,
then I get it.
A few (or one) trips on the ATV and it will probably have ‘patina’.

i love a good patina as much as a pristine “as new” look too… but with me i want to keep my stuff “as new” as long as possible while i slowly build “patina” on them. like you said being a good steward. Alot of guys though when selling their guns, wont buy the used gun ifi t has patina. odd i know. just how it is.
