Bufferless AR conversion kits

I’d definitely be a buyer of several PSA bufferless BCG kits for sure! Great idea!

There was a manufacturer, DRD Tactical, they made ar 15 & ar 10 rifles that not only used an internal bcg spring and non-recipricating handle, but also interchangeable barrels and calipers.

But and I don’t mean but! Otis Technology bought the company around 2019, and then ceased all operations and support around 2023.

J was lucky to get 3 of them: ar15 they named the Aptus. It comes with 2 barrels in 223/5.56, and the ar10 called the Paratus, and also comes with 2 barrels: 7.62/308 & 6.5 creedmoore.

And last the Kivaari in .338 Lapua.

Lthe Beauty of them all, it only takes minutes to change barrels or disassemble and pack in a packpak or small case

To bad its all gone now. Can’t figure why you would buy a company with a great product then shut it all down.

I was able to reach out to a salesman that worked for DRD TACTICAL, SAYS THE COMPANY IS AVAILABLE FOR SALE COMPLETE WITH MACHINE SHOP EQUIPMENT FOR A MERE $800K

i’ve never heard of any of those companies… and its odd cause with products like that you’d of thought that i would have or someoene would have cause it sure seems like a killer product that there would be a lot of hype around, and one that would be hard for the folks who make it to shut down o lose control over due to the number of people that wanted it due to how cool it is, being configurable and take down and swappable and all that… it never will cease to amaze me that good products get cancelled all the time for apparently no reason.

There is a reason they are for sale…..

yeah, thats true.. but what was it. and whered the products go. if they were such good products, they’d of been rebranded and reproduced or so i’d of thought.
