With all of those premium parts I would go with a piston buffer and not a spring. Just my two cents worth.

Looks great. I’m a big fan of all FDE guns

Fairly new to the AR platform, Pros/cons to a piston buffer? I’m gonna google it, but would rather hear from here, similar to an AK?

Never tried one but sounds promising…
Thanks for the tip…

Here ya go. They reduce the buffer spring slap in the tube and IMHO smooth out the recoil a bit also. I have versions of these in my AR10s and KS-47

No, a piston is a solution to a problem that doesnt exist.

Alright, my project has been finished, I’m really happy with the outcome and it shoots beautiful.
I didn’t go with the Timney trigger, I decided to give a shot to PSA 3.5 lbs drop in trigger and so far it works really good.
I added a Phase 5 Weapon Systems Inc Extended Bolt Release V2 EBRV2308 and a Magpul Industries Enhanced AR Magazine Release MAG568-BLK

What range are you shooting that at since you have a 20moa mount?

Right now I have access only to 300 yds but I’m planning to shoot up to 800 yds.
