Looking for a recoil mitigation buffer

Just ordered my first PSA 300 blackout upper, 8.5" barrel, I’m looking around for a quality recoil mitigation buffer system. A lot people saying go with BCM, if so which one? Anyone have any experience and or advice?

JP silent captured spring. If you are looking for a standard buffer or spring, you can just uograde to a flat wire spring or the Geissele kit.

Fwiw, the standard spring and buffer PSA sells are as good of quality as BCM.

An h2 (which that one is) usually is recommended for 300blk, but there are a lot of variables. Suppressor? Ammo type and weight? Adjustable gas block? gas system length? etc.

No can, no adjustable had block, nothing fancy (yet).

h2 will work with supers. subs may not cycle without a can.

I run H2s in my 5.56s and 300 Blackout

I run the AR9 and AR10 models respectively in my other rifles

In my son’s competition PCC, we used a Blitzkrieg Kynshot RB5015HD hydraulic buffer and Tubb ARBUF flatwire spring to remove almost all recoil. It’s now approaching the recoil in his .22lr race rifle.

The hydraulic buffer functions using a piston filled with hydraulic fluid, which compresses as the bolt carrier moves rearward during the cycling of the firearm. This hydraulic compression absorbs the energy generated by the recoiling action, reducing the force felt by the shooter and allowing for faster follow-up shots.

While the RB5015HD is specifically for 9mm PCCs, Blitzkrieg Kynshot also makes hydraulic buffers for AR15 & AR10.. They have extensive guidance on which buffer + spring is the best likely choice for your setup—including .300 Blackout.
