Is on clearance at PSA as I write this. There seems to be vary little out there good or bad about this red dot. I really like the Burris scopes I own, but haven’t ever had any Burris electronics.
I went ahead and ordered one, the price seems really good. Just wondering if anyone has any real world experience with the Burris RT-1?

It seems to have decent reviews everywhere I look. If there’s one thing I personally don’t like, no shake awake…You have to hit a button to turn it on.
That’s the only “negative” that I see. So if you’re good with that,

For the price I went ahead and ordered one a week and half ago, although it still hasn’t shipped. Im a Burris fan, so I assume it’s as good as all my other Burris sights. If I ever get it I’ll update with my thoughts.

Thanks, I have a Sig with shake awake for my Home protection AR, but this will likely go on a range/ fun gun I am mid Build with at the moment. So I think I will be fine with an on/off red dot.

So, it’s not just me. I ordered it Monday I think and here it is Saturday with out it being shipped.
I ordered mine 2 Thursdays ago, was hoping to have it by now but no luck. Hopefully they’ll start shipping them soon.

I ordered one a week ago. Also, still waiting for it to ship.
It does come with the Burris forever warranty. No motion awake, and battery life is advertised as 1,200 hours. It stays awake 8 hours in day mode settings before shutting off.

Well it’s likely drop shipped from a third party supplier. We all know that’s hit or miss, but that also helps to keep prices low.
I’ve had stuff ship lightening fast, and turtle slow from PSA. I don’t care.
I support their mission, appreciate their prices, and I don’t think twice about delivery times. If I need it tomorrow, I’ll go buy local and pay 30% more.

I have 6 boys and most of them started out with Rimfires and I put Burris red dots on all of them. My boys can destroy……practically everything they get their hands on. Honestly, I bought the Burris red dots because they were inexpensive and I really believed they would break them. I wanted them to use them…hard. They are adults now……and the Burris Red dots are still on their rifles. Iam a bit of an optics snob…. But I was won over by Burris and I had one until recently where I donated mine to a new shooter for his first gun.
The Burris is neither an Aimpoint nor is it the price of an Aimpoint.
The Burris Red dot is pretty darn good, tough Red Dot…that works well. If you manage to break it……your not going to cry.
PS…. Iam unable to focus on the red dot now and I am transitioning to optics with a focus for my eyesight……so although I liked the Burris…I had to transition to a new optic……Iam glad another young man will be using it.

I bought two belts (Not from PSA) I have two already but I really like them and my work is hard on all clothing, so I wanted two more. Everyone was out so I Ordered from the actual manufacturer.
That was in June 2021 I think and they arrived just after Christmas.
Shipping is vary strange these days, like you said, some things ship fast and arrive fast. . others not so much.
I ordered a holster last month from PSA on a Sunday. It was delivered the next day by UPS. I was shocked. I got a notice that Sunday from UPS saying it would be delivered, but previous experience tells me that it usually means they printed the label and UPS had my shipping info. Usually, I get an email the next day saying it hasn’t been picked up by UPS yet, but this time it was correct.
I don’t mind the wait, but I wish that their Customer Service staff would respond to emails once the expected shipping time has passed.
I also wish that someone would correct the sales tax rate for my shipping address in the ordering system. My sales tax rate dropped 1% at the beginning of the year, but it isn’t reflected in the order system, and Customer Service has never responded to my inquiries. I almost didn’t order the red dot for that reason, but the tax rate in their store the next county over is 3% higher.

Just got notice that my order has shipped. I have an UPS tracking number, but it is not in the UPS system yet. Probably will be later today or tomorrow before UPS gets physical custody.

I was really thinking maybe they would do a mass shipping and I would come home to find my Red dot had shipped also. . . .no such luck

I received mine today. Like I figured, it didn’t get to UPS the same day the label was created, or I would have received it yesterday. So far all I have done is take it out of the box, put the battery in and checked that it would come on and that I could change the brightness.
