C-1 slide with Blazer 115’s

Other than the Radian Afterburner system that I tried for my P365, the C-1 slide for my Micro Dagger is my first built in comped version pistol. I have a few cases of Blazer Brass 115 grainers and the boxes state not to be used in ported and comped pistols due to the thin plated bullets. I can see an issue with a ported barrel having direct contact with the bullet but the comp opening on the C-1 slide doesn’t seem to be an issue to me. There’s plenty of clearance for no direct contact. Eye protection is always worn. I sold the Radian as the increased noise was too much for the slight reduction in recoil and muzzle flip. The C-1 doesn’t seem to have any additional noise.

On a different note, both my standard length and C-1 slides were in excellent new condition and did not show any evidence of being test fired.

Are you asking if its ok?

I guess I’m asking if there’s been any issues with these slides.

I dont know of any gun issues but also dont know of folks using that specific ammo.

I’ve been running a C1 pistol and she’s eaten everything and ran well. Two stovepipes, both were underpowered loads, aside from those (across 500 rounds), 115 grain, 124 grain, 147 grain, FMJ and JHP all ran well. I love the platform (C1)!

Guess the issue is with ported barrels that can shave off some plated bullet coatings. Comps do not touch the exiting bullet, so all is good! Carry on!
