PSA Dagger Full S with C1 Slide

My question is simple: The C1 slide states, ‘Barrel Note: Ported barrels and compensators are tuned for full power ammunition. Low power target ammo may cause cycling issues in certain situations.’ This leads to my question: What grain bullet is recommended and which grain would not be recommended?

115 or 124 is what you seek. Subsonic ammo such as 147 may not cycle.

Yep, while I was able to run 147 grain through my C-1 Dagger, every so often, I’d get an extraction issue. With 124 and 115, it run just fine. Not that I’m an expert, but I’d guess the velocity needs to stay in the 970fps range or you’d need to swap out to a lower spring weight.

The nice thing about the G19 type recoil springs is that you can swap out spring weight for most. So, for instance, if you have a C-1 slide and want to add an optic, that might change how the gun runs. In that case, you could look to go to a higher (or in this case) lower spring weight. Wolff Springs sells kits, I picked up 14lb, 15lb and 16lb springs for my Daggers to tune them up as needed (if/when I add optics, etc.).

GuitarGuy (as always) is spot on, in general (and to make it easier), stick with full power 124 and 115 grain and you should be 100% reliable.

Oh, and the C-1 slide Dagger is a sweet shooter!!! ENJOY!!!
