thanks…bought quad comp. and also want to buy a 15 lb recoil spring to test what works the best with 115 grn ammo.

Give us some updates on reliability, with the stock spring if you can. I have their micro circle version of the comp and I haven’t had any issues so far. I do notice the slower slide movement though, so I’m betting it’s right at the edge of reliability. I do have an optic on it as well. Holosun 509T, so kinda chunky.

I have a 13lb recoil spring and I will tell you for a fact that 112gr/115gr just doesn’t feed properly. I had to re-install the stock recoil spring setup just to get it to feed right.
On 124gr. the 13lb recoil spring setup works amazingly well!

What type of 13 pound recoil spring and guide rod did you go with? I ordered a captured unit made for a Glock 19. It is way too short. I have a red dot and would like to run the same comp in this discussion. I already own the comp from a Glock 19 build.

I’ll change my initial post at first, using some of the lighter range ammo like Winchester white box I started having issues. Hotter stuff like Fiocchi, and of course higher grain ammo stops the jams. Also threw my barrel and comp on the plain Dagger to help reliability. No chunky optic on that one. Kinda nice having a few malfunctions with range ammo, I finally get to practice clearing them.

I just bought a 15lb recoil spring for the Dagger Compact as I also have that same compensator. Ill be giving it a try.

let us know how it goes! from what I’ve read different people have had different results. I also bought a wolff 16 and 15 lb spring set. which I haven’t had to use yet! but maybe when I add the optic I will have to?

Depends on weight/effectiveness of the comp, weight of optic, and what kind of ammo you plan to run. All my tests were done with the cheap bulk range ammo, which also reduces comp effectiveness cause there just isn’t enough power to blast the muzzle back down, let alone cycle 100% of the time.

Added a 15lb spring and the Dagger is buttery smooth now with the Primary Arms comp!

Which comp is it? Cause they don’t make their own, they just sell others. What kind of ammo as well?

Hello, if you use the HCDG COMPENSATOR FOR PSA DAGGER you can run whatever you want with no problems. It is made specifically for daggers. They are in stock now for 90, I hope this help.

Hello, the best one is HCDG COMPENSATOR FOR PSA DAGGER

This is the one I use with no problems.
HCDG COMPENSATOR FOR PSA DAGGER

Set screws, no thanks. I despite set screws on comps. Damage threads over time, makes it a pain to detach and attach it for detailed cleaning or changing parts. All I had to do when I swapped front sight on my Dagger was unscrew the Strike Industries circle comp by hand. After I was done, screw back on by hand, and the o-ring keeps it in place.

I havr to agree. As someone who uses suppressors, set screws are a no no.

Full size and compact lowers sharing a PMM comp. I have yet to have an issue. But I have been told go lower if I do. But I have an issue with the guide rod fallig. Down some off the barrel and making the damn slide get stuck on the lower. All 3 of my daggers do this. So I am replacing them all with Lonewolf.
