Just watched the video, I just might have to try it out. The thing I wonder is, when you clean your pistol you either need to keep the barrel in the slide or stock up on crush washers. Is this a problem for you guys that already have compensators on your pistols?
I only have tried Harrington Arms for a compensator so far but they use set screws instead of a crush washer. Does anyone know if the crush washer is the same as the ones for 1/2-28 PCCs? Or is it a proprietary one?
I would imagine any same size crush washer should work @bracketracer
Only way to know is to measure. I wonder though because they mentioned a quarterturn.
How efficient is a compensator that doesn’t require a recoil spring change?
Anyone know what weight reduced recoil spring you need to run this and have no issues?
Since it doesn’t move with the slide, I doubt you’d need to change the recoil spring. I have a different brand compensator on one of my daggers and it runs fine with no other changes.
Mike,
I’m running a 3 port SI comp that uses the 0 ring. We got together today and shot our pistols. Got home to clean my Dagger and left the comp on the muzzle. Barrel tilts plenty to punch the tube and spray with CLP blast with air. Next go round I’ll remove it for a total cleaning.
@bracketracer
Same here running standard recoil no issues.
Have you considered migrating to Rumble instead of YouTube so you can show assembly details, talk price, show links, etc?
