Can't log in to the Palmetto store site

There is apparently no other way to contact somebody about an issue like this than here:

Hi there,
Since last night I have been inexplicably unable to log in to the the Palmetto website. I’ve ordered from you folks numerous times and have never had anything like this happen before.

I used the same credentials I’ve been using for years and the login dialog just refreshes and asks for the credentials again. No other message or error.

I’ve tried using different browsers and resetting my password twice along with clearing the cookies and site data for palmettostatearmory.com. Same thing. The login dialog refreshes and sits waiting for the credentials again.

On my phone, but only on my phone, it tells me the account has been temporarily locked out.

I’m a computer professional and have some knowledge of these things, but have no idea why this would be happening. I’ve logged in to your site hundreds, maybe thousands of time and never until last night has there been any issue whatsoever.

I certainly would love to get this resolved and your help in that regard is obviously needed :slight_smile: I didn’t know what to choose as a reason for this contact, so I did the best I could

Thanks,

You are the second person ive seen today with this. My account in fine but let me tag @sean.psa to see if he has any insight.

yeah thats an interesting error. i know the 2 systems are independent of each other which is why your able to log in here. they may be having a glitch or something going on … Guitarguy is right @sean.psa should be the one to know why and figure it out if theres an ongoing issue, or if its simply locked out due to repeated mis entry of pw or something.

Are you using a VPN?

That would be an answer, but no. No VPN.

I have been logging in for several years with this same credentials. Hundreds of times.

I tried with Firefox, Opera and Chrome. The weirdest thing is getting no error at all. It just refreshes and wants the creds again. In a loop.

Thanks guys for your attention.

Reboot your system @Tiribulus :joy::joy:

Firefox has certainly been causing issues with their latest updates. I would stick to Chrome or safari.

Were you ever able to get logged in? We did have a legitimate issue where the login was redirecting endlessly but have since resolved it. It is possible your browser still has the cookie cached.

I also use firefox and noticed that I have to log in for every visit to the forum since a few days ago. Where i used to just stay logged in.

But i always experience a problem every time firefox updates, so i figured it was due to a recent update.

Hmm. And now I’m having problems posting replies.

Nevermind. I just cleared my cache and it fixed both problems.

Sorry for the late update. It just started working again. With no input from me whatsoever.

good that means Sean fixed it.

I recently authorized SMS messages for my two factor authorization but I am stuck in an endless loop of verification links sent to my phone asking me to verify my account. However, the link redirects me to the login page which then sends me another SMS verification link when I try to sign in. How can I log in to my PSA account?

@sean.psa

welcome man!

Sean should be able to help you out, if he’s not too swamped. I see GuitarGuy has already called him in here by tagging him.. im sure he’ll be along as soon as possible.

I am having this same exact issue.

I verified my email and phone number the other day when signing up on the store website, walked away from my PC for about an hour, came back and my login was timed out. Went to log in again, and was met with the “2fa is required” message, which then immediately sent a link to my phone. The link opened in chrome to the login page where I tried to sign in and was met with the same message, SMS link, and endless loop.

I’m on Verizon on an iPhone 15 Pro using Chrome (also tried safari with no success).

I will talk to @sean.psa tomorrow if he doesnt reply here first.

The same, except I have had my account for almost a year. Once I added the 2FA, this started. I have reached out via Facebook and X(Twitter) as well as called the customer service line, which was no help at all. I heard back on Facebook that they would have their IT guys look into it, but so far, it still isn’t working.

PSA is aware and hopefully can get it fixed soon.

@harriman8 Sean is our guy and he is aware.
