Carry a suppressed Rock?

I guess it’s a good thing they use the ZF transmissions just like Ford and BMW then.

Of which a bunch of them are made just down the road a bit from where I live.

Correct, in 2013 they finally threw in the towel. Which is good. The best Dodge out there has a Cummings engine and a ZF transmission. But at least it has a Dodge emblem. Lmao.

Honestly thou. Every Dodge that I’ve seen in my family no joke EVERY single one the transmission went out. I’ve heard bad experiences from many others that I know and on the interwebs that all have had the same experience. I’ve always said Dodge makes damn strong engines, but have never made a trans that can handle the power.

Also apologies to the OP and the powers that be as we went off topic.

Sounds like you have terrible luck. I’ve got three dodges under my belt. All with well over 100,000 mi and one Chrysler 300c at 125,000 mi. And actually to boot the nag-1 transmission was pulled from Mercedes so I can’t speak to the transmissions in their economy cars, but Dodge hasn’t run an in-house transmission for anything that makes power in 25 years now.

See, even Dodge themselves agree with me.

I’m not bashing them, just being truthful. Heck my truck was almost a Dodge Ram. Just happened to work out that a Ford was bought instead. It was between Dodge or Ford and Fords are all over so there was more to choose from and thats just how the cookie crumbled. I still think Rams look mean as hell.

Anyways, I’m done. We trashed this thread lol.

I wonder about the silencerco switchback in short configuration cause I think it’s pretty close in size to the Bowers.

I think I need an oil change…

I tried my dads .308 suppressor, and it worked, but it was too big for the gun to fully cycle :rofl: I was thinking about getting a fake suppressor muzzle brake, but i dont know what fits…

Completely pointless that can doesn’t have enough volume.

A modest effect is still an effect right?

Just got back from the range with my newest Rock with the threaded barrel (I now have 2 rocks) . I attached my 8.25" “solvent trap” for my AR to the rock and ran into cycling issues. Removed the solvent trap and it cycled like a champ. Going to have to check into a different trap possibly 2"-3" shorter and see if that helps with cycling. On another note… cycle sucked but it sounded great!!!

I tried to upload the short vidoe, but wasn’t allowed. If you want to hear it get ahold of me and I’ll send the 30 sec video

Mine cycled well with a 9mm can and booster

Booster? Haven’t heard of that animal…

My can was for a 223/556 AR

How was the sound? Mine sounded like a .22
