Clemson Number 1?

Travel & Leisure magazine survey reporting…

https://www.thestate.com/news/state/south-carolina/article291917740.html

Personally, I think the survey is flawed. Traffic is terrible when the students are in town, the heat and humidity are awful, and it is damned near impossible to get to Death Valley on game day. My advice to anyone who hasn’t been to the area is "Just don’t ".

I’m just being sarcastic of course, but much has changed in the many years I have lived here.:expressionless:

interesting. i can kinda see it as a small town rating… its a beautiful campus setting. where as us gamecocks, well you take away the universitys and colleges from Columbia SC, and you have no real city. lol.

oh well, you win some you loose some… we’ll see how yall do tonight against app state.

Go Tigers! Lake Murray or Multrie can’t compete with the north end of Hartwell. Hartwell gets worse the further south you go.

I’m actually planning to move there and I may have found a plumbing apprenticeship program I’m interested in. Is clemson good to go as soon as I’m done with the program or move up to advanced plumbing ? Just asking for suggestions. And one more thing any chance of a psa store in Clemson or drive further to Greeneville?

Doutbful Clemson would get one. Anderson maybe, but i havent heard on it being on the radar.

I agree, it’s the best. All the transplants looking for a great new home should move there. Forget about Columbia & Lexington - we’re FULL!

We are for sure full!

overful.

psa is only in greenville up that a ways.
the greater clemson area you may find something… but you’d probably drive ab out 20-30 min to or from work at least.

At least the apprenticeship job pays better than what I have now. And food lion it’s meh, I prefer ingles market.

At least it’s a better job and I can learn alot.

Pretty sure Ingles is up there as well.

At least thier quality control beats food lion and choice of selections

I know they are in Spartanburg. Founded in Asheville iirc.

I dated a Lecturer @ Clemson several years ago. They’re there. Helene took out their whole warehouse and data center in Asheville. I’m not sure they have their in-house brands completely re-started yet and for a long while after all stores were cash only as they couldn’t process ATM or CC’s.

Damn the whole shebang. Should at least build multiple DC offices and scatter them. And the shop in morganton got hit badly @Rufus good job on the cc update and the way my generation is hooked on credit card or debit. Even after a few days from helene all the atm tellers within tri county area had lines better be prepared. Rumored may reopening
