Yep, working on it. Even looking at bayonet adapters, since it doesn’t have a lug, for the hell of it.

The handguard looks like its too long to accept a bayonet.
You need an under mount, but it can be done.

Roger that. I thought you were going to add a lug and still try to slide the bayonet over the muzzle brake.
If you plan on doing more builds or tinkering on your current build, I recommend buying about 10 pivot/takedown detents and springs. I also keep extra castle nuts, crush washers, and roll pins. 99% of builds are a piece of cake but inevitably, you’ll lose a detent, booger a roll pin, etc. It’s nice being able to grab an extra and not need to order one. As for the loctite on the castle nut, I use blue on every build. When I’ve needed to remove a nut, it takes some work, but usually not a huge deal with the right tool. I’ve had a couple castle nuts get marred up in the process, though, so it’s good to grab an extra for a few bucks. Have fun!
Hello Jason, I was also leery of my skills of assembling my first lower, so I purchased an assembled lower. I got the Stealth lower fully assembled for a little more money than the parts. I really like Palmetto. Fisrt carbine is sweet, all Colt except lower.

I put together a lower a few years ago and am getting butterflies as I’m ready to put together another one in the next few days. Getting reacquainted should be fun, but I hate sproinging springs and losing little parts. Might have to put up my 2-man tent and work in there!
Assembling the upper seems a little harder (maybe) making use of tools, special grease, a torque wrench, and other items. I’ll do that some day…
