I have a lower AR15 build guide with pictures. It lists all of the parts with pictures. You can install a part in the wrong place in your lower such as your lower springs if you aren’tcareful. It explains not only how to install the parts but also in the proper order. You don’t want to scratch or damage parts or have to remove parts so you can install other parts. If you go in order you want have any issues. I also have function checks for most parts to make sure that the part is installed properly and functioning properly. This is a Microsoft Word File. I hope that this guide will be helpful to everyone. Videos are good but for me it is easier to print and follow along or go back to a previous section. Also you can print one out for a friend. I print one out everytime that I build a lower. I mark off the parts and steps when complete.

Many thanks!
No problem at all. I was hoping that many of our members could use it. I have posted it on a few other gun forums over the years and alot of people found it helpful. I am glad that you can use it. No matter how many AR that I build I will eventually put a part in the wrong order and have to remove a part to install another part. Printing out my guide just makes it idiot proof. Ask me how I know…
I’ve used it (got it from Allen ) and have passed it on to others.
Yes he got it from me. I have posted it here before but I was updating it to the proper section so it is easier to find.
If anyone wants to know since you mentioned him @rockymountainjeep - Allen he is doing fine. We still keep up with each other. He is one fine gentleman that will give you the shirt off his back without thinking about it.
With all the good info you’ve put out here today I feel like maybe a whole new category might be a good idea “Tutorials” or something like that. I like having a document in front of me as well. I guess I’m old school.
I was just going through some of the firearm files that I have accumulated over the years, made up, saved from other forums or found while doing research on a firearm. I am posting them in the hope that it helps you guys without having to do a bunch internet searching and reading like I did. I have more files but they are too large to post here on the forum.
The mods can.
I sent it to a freind sight unseen with hopes he will print it and use it!
If you ask anyone that has used it I believe that it is pretty easy to use and understand. Now if your friend is the type person who gets determined to pound a square block into a round hole then I am sorry it won’t be much use to them.
I’ve got an Angle Grinder for those…

Somehow that doesn’t suprise me. Just stay away from my round holes with that angle grinder. All my holes have been penatrated and probed more than I care to discuss. I know that someone is already thinking about something totally different than I am talking about.
Thank you.

I know the true meaning of being probed as well.
