Glad to hear that, brother, and to know where your treasures really are- praying for you.
Quercetin seems to be a hidden gem. Definitely recommended along with the other items you mentioned - it helped me.
I know it sucks, but get up and walk around, don’t just lay on your back or the pneumonia will collect in the back of your lungs!! Had to help my neighbor recover recently, would have healed faster with movement, not rigorous exercise but just not resting too much
You are in good hands
Glad to hear from you buddy! Focus on getting better, then we can figure out an outing for anyone willing to come out. Maybe a celebratory range trip or just out to grab a drink. Keep us updated when you can.
Man, I am sorry that you are having to go through this and I pray for your continued recovery. It sounds that you have a very powerful faith and a good attitude - these are very important when it comes to physical recovery. Fight the good fight, keep us posted and get healthy!
Transportated by Ambulance back to the ER yesterday. Back in a Hospital room today. Home health nurse was worried about respatory failure at home because of O2 being so low. Going to really be out of commission for a few more days. Will update when I can. O2 level and headaches still very real issue.
We’re keeping you in our thoughts.

Keep fighting brother. Ask God to be with you and he will. He’s got this.
You have Got to pull out of this, Brother. Who else here is gonna Educate us all on the varied World War weapons and paraphernalia if you don’t?
You’re too damn Important to us to give up now!
Ain’t that the truth. Keep fighting!
If you have some Irish in you, you are immune from COVID-19, it’s variants and any criticism
Good luck and a speedy recovery
Thanks guys I am not quitting. I am hoping that if I keep fighting Covid long enough it is going to get tired, bored and eventually give up. There is always the chance that I might be able leave some non essential equipment behind and slip away while it is distracted with my bait and switch.
You’re in my thoughts! Hope you have a quick and complete healing process.
I shared a text that I sent to my Mom this morning with Allen just a little bit ago. I wanted to do the same for the rest of you guys to show my extreme gratitude and heartfelt thanks to each and every one of you. I never imagined when I joined this forum it would become to mean so much to me. @Joshlovesguns please let all the guys at PSA that were behind the hard work putting this forum together how much I appreciate it and how much it has personally ment to me.
Mom, I am so humbled this morning. All of the outpouring from friends at work so very seriously worried about and Praying for Amy and I. Checking on us every day with encouragement and prayers. The normal friends that I have away from work also doing the same exact things. All of your friends checking everyday on Amy and I. As usual everyone from church has been so very caring, encouraging and really keeping the prayers going strong. The guys on the gun forum that I have told you about have been so very encouraging and also keeping us in their prayers. All of these awesome loving people really let you know that even in this screwed up world right now your friends and family will stand by you in need and not abandon you.
Done buddy! I’m glad that you have so much support. But now we need a favor from you. Kick this thing in the @ss and lets get back to it!
Every time Covid is mentioned……which is often….I think about your recovery……and I quickly ask the lord to “Keep this one alive and well”.
He (1911) brings a lot of good to humanity. ……
Once a veteran………always a warrior !
This is a different enemy…God Speed….win this fight
Hoping for a speedy recovery!
UPDATE
Last night Greg was transferred via helicopter from the University of South Carolina, Florence, to the Medical University of South Carolina, Charleston. This was planned, so while it appears extreme on the surface, he was on a wait list and last night a bed became available.
Greg needs an ECMO. It’s an external life support machine that will greatly reduce the stress on his heart and lungs. Tubes are inserted into large veins to pump blood, provide oxygen, and remove carbon dioxide. Link below to more detailed information on the ECMO. Reducing the stress on his organs will allow for more effective treatment of the Covid.
His spirits are good, but the fact remains he is in ICU, and needs this machine to help him with his fight. I know he is in everyone’s prayers, and that should continue.
His wife, who also has Covid with double pneumonia seems to be improving at home. According to Greg her voice is stronger and she had an easier time talking.
I imagine Greg will be down for a day or two.

Thanks for the update.
