To me it doesn’t seem like a freedom of speech thing. It seems like a tax thing. If you make any money from posting about them, you must report it. You report compensation made because they will want to tax your compensation (but that part isn’t spelled out). Idk thou?

For the most part FL doesn’t have income tax though. Unless they’ve changed it in the last year or so.
There’s definitely a tax component to it – and taxing 1A is prohibited.
the bill seems to specifically tax a blogger’s free speech about public servants. it doesn’t get any more Big Brother than this.
