I’m pretty sure they already are sleeping in the same bed. The BRIC pact is getting the Saudis too. We’ve already lost. Which is unfortunate because now I gotta bring up innocent kids in an extremely chaotic world. Plus China is already leading the way with peace talks with more then just Russia and Ukraine. Saudi and Iran have a peace treaty and who lead that? China!

American involvement in Ukraine needs to end. No more foreign wars. Go back to a pragmatic and realistic foreign policy.

I don’t buy it. The problem isn’t that every cop in Uvalde is a coward. The problem is that they were ordered to stand down and await further instructions… which never came… on pupose… so that the tragedy that was planned to be exploited would be allowed to grow into a bigger tragedy that could be exploited for greater effect.

To be fair to the Saudis – our commander in chief has declared economic war on their way of life and has declared his intent to undermine the viability of their economy. For years he has campaigned on the platform of putting an end to the use of all fossil fuels in America and he has promoted the greenism solution of ending America’s use of fossil fuels. That’s a direct statement to the Saudis that we don’t want their oil and that we are ambivalent about whether we undermine the economic stability of our allies. It demonstrates by example that we really don’t care about our allies. It is in plain view that we are shifting our infrastructure away from combustion of Arabian oil in favor of spending trillions with the Chinese as they produce solar panels, batteries and various forms of electrical power gadgetry. The Saudis understand that the Green movement is anti-oil and anti-Saudi. The crowned prince recognized this and demonstrated his contempt for Biden with a fist bump instead of a hand shake.
This is a problem that is unique to North America in the Western hemisphere because of the irrational obsession with the green platform. The majority of the world is not on the green platform. The BRIC nations want no part of the Green Agenda, so it makes sense for the Saudis to align with the BRICS instead of the USA.
When you factor in the fact that the US is devaluing the dollar that we use to pay for foreign purchases by increasing the money supply in 2-trillion dollar aliquots, there is even less reason for the Saudis to want us as a trading partner. They are more interested in having true Allies who care about their mutual prosperity through alignment of their interests and pay in a currency that isn’t being over-produced with the intent of exporting inflation to their trade partners.
Yes, we are losing. We’re doing it to ourselves through bad economic and foreign policy.
Facts that are hard for to many voters to comprehend and who just tow the party line, on both sides of the aisle.
We as a Country have had our heads in the ground and become so complacent about our government that we are going to get run over by China. We are already behind the eight ball in a bad way.

Words have meaning and can be misused easily.
My point is, this is war and If Ukraine fights back so be it, Good for them who cares if Russia is pissed they fight back. If Ukraine soldiers were on Russian territory then a different story
I think you have a good point – many of the facts are just too difficult for many people to process, so those people find it easiest to just keep going along with the status quo and reject any complex idea that doesn’t fit their preconceived notions. This thread seems to demonstrate it well – some people become so upset by uncomfortable facts that they believe they’re being subjected to personal attacks when they read comments that aren’t even directed toward them.

Those days are over and is wishful thinking. Those days are over and ended during our involvement in the Korean War and Congress failed to declare War. Since the Korean War conflicts have been funded by an Authorized Use Of Military Force ( AUMF) with no declaration or an official explanation to the public from Congress. Just dump it all on the President while Congress funds endless wars. It’s wishful thinking because the American Voter or the Politicians we vote for does not want change.
Like it or not the world would spin on even if we did nothing. May as well stay in the world we live in and do things that would give the younger generation a shot at living.
