Itās already being used as a tool to write revisionist history. The case of Al Gore Jr. using his influence to rewrite the history of his father, Al Gore Sr., is a good example. As the article cites, Senior was a segregationist and one of the primary opponents of the Civil Rights Movement, yet ChatGPT insists that he was a vocal supporter of the Civil Rights movement. Itās a lie, but changing the facts about his father allows Junior to have a politically correct pedigree to enhance his universal appeal at the WEF. So history is changed to suit Juniorās PR needs. Somebody is doing Junior a big favor by training the AI bot to memorize and espouse his rewritten family history. This should be viewed as a marker that AIās training based upon facts that are tainted, non-objective and politically biased.
That kind of revisionist history is occurring because AI is not being used in an objective/unbiased fashion. Instead it is being used as a tool to propagate the ideology of the people who created it. It is acting to impose their values upon the rest of us in a parental sort of way, grooming the people who use AI as if they are children learning from more knowledgeable adults.
We The People need to recognize the dangers that are inherent in training artificial intelligence to lie to us. But thereās a deeper problem. We The People should be asking: Who has the power to change the nature of AI training, and what is their political objective in training AI to have a belief system that is based upon lies?
The lies that are being propagated by AI are going to become a very signficiant problem as people become too lazy to learn and know facts, and just rely on Siri, or the Bard, or ChatGPT to know things for them. The result will be that the bots will tell The People what it has been decided that The People need to know. Welcome to the age of artificially intelligent automated disinformation and propaganda.
The problem is one if GIGO programming, or Garbage Input leads to Garbage Output. But itās not really āgarbageā when the bad input is a propaganda objective, and that propaganda objective produces a desired propaganda output in the training of the AI bot. When you have people training AI to have a political bias that reflects their own political bias, they propagate their own beliefs, and their AI āchildā becomes a rabid supporter of their ideologies who insists that no alternative belief system is credible.
Trusting AI is kind of like trusting Greta Thunbergās parents to raise your child. Donāt go there.

Today Nebraska had a third and final vote on LB77. This allows all legal gun owners the right to constitutional carry. Residents still need to pass a background check and have a state issued āfirearm purchase certificateā for pistols.
Next week Governor Jim Pillen will sign the bill into law. By the end of this summer it will be legal for concealed carry without paying the state and obtaining a permit from the State Police.

It is well-established that Authorize.net has participated in objectionable activities such as:
- denying firearm/ammunition related transactions;
- denying transactions that are related to gun stores and even sporting equipment;
- working with Discover Card to block many 2A related online purchases.
I know Iāve mentioned this before ā on March 9 I had mentioned that I had been a Discover Card customer for over 40 years. I terminated my account because the card was no longer useful in performing the types of transactions I wanted to perform. The same transactions that were denied by Discover / Authorize.net went through on my Costco Visa without any hiccups.
The only problem is that I no longer have different cards dedicated to each hobby, so theyāve screwed things up for me.
