I call BS. The themed AR lower receivers are intended to draw attention to the company – positive attention from people who like the joke, and negative attention from those who don’t. We all remember the hubub associated with the Secret Service being called about the FJB lowers, right? As they say in Hollywood, any publicity is good publicity. The complaints by the leftist media assured that the lowers all sold out.
But I’m with YOTA on this – there’s no way to reconcile the interests of a business with the interests of it’s customers when the business suppresses the speech of it’s customers.
The result is that there are a great many people here who fear to speak their minds and have to talk using multiple cryptic metaphors that are so obscure that their speech is unintelligible. I had to tell one fellow that I didn’t understand him FOUR TIMES and he just kept on being cryptic because he was afraid to say something out loud. He kept talking about some clown with a cookbook – never figured out what he was trying to say because he was too afraid to say it. Of course, these fears are exacerbated when some Marxist agitator hanging out on the forum dares you to speak your mind, claiming that the government is “cataloging everything that you say.”
You don’t have much of a forum when the customers aren’t free to speak their minds.
It was clear enough for most to grasp.
Enough is enough. This is a gun board. Perhaps its time to simply talk about guns. If we cant do that, go find a place like reddit.
