Dagger complete frame, magazine fit and Slide compatibility

A few weeks ago I received my PSA Dagger complete frames. I have a G23 gen 2. , a G23 complete upper in Nubix coating along with multiple Glock magazines in 9mm, .40 SW from various manufactures.

All the .40 SW magazines (glock gen 3 & 4 factory, ETS sticks) are stiff and a bit hard to insert into the frame. The .40SW mags , also don’t drop free.
When I put G23 Nubix slide into the Dagger frame. The lock up between the Nubix 23 slide and the Dagger lower was very wobbly and would rattle and shake.
When I took my G23 gen 2 slide and put it on the Dagger frame it was also wobbly. The G23 factory slide was also difficult to remove from the Dagger frame and seemed to get stuck at one point.
I have some G19 gen 3, U.S. Patriot armory slides but I don’t have any internals so I haven’t tried those yet.
The 9mm magazines I have insert easier and most drop free. The Magpul 9mm mag seems to work and drop free the best. The Glock factory and ETS mags fit easy but are wobbly once inserted into the frame. The glock 9mm factory mags I have are gen 3 and 4 and a few do not drop free.
Has any one had any problems with mags or switching non PSA slides on the Dagger frame?

It’s made for Gen 3 parts, which might explain why your gen 2 stuff is not the best fit. As for mags, I think PSA designed the dagger to work with all mags. Not all glock style mags work with glocks, but they seem to work with the dagger.

go back and read what I wrote! I have a Gen 3 23 slide that fits on the Dagger.

I said i have a Gen 2 23 and I have a G23 slide in nubix finish that is a Gen 3 slide and fits on the Glock Gen 2 frame without any rattle, wobble or front end tilt.

Update.

I put together my US Patriot armory G19, gen 3 slide and put it on the PSA dagger lower. The slide rattles and wobbles and tilts up and down at the barrel end.

My understanding is all polymer pistols have a bit of slide rise.

My glocks don’t have any rise or wobble to the degree that the PSA Dagger lowers have, when I put other Glock slides on the PSA lower.

The Dagger slide is tight on a 19 G3 frame. No wobble at all. I almost thought it would not fit. The cut for the rail on the frame must be a fraction smaller than that of a Glock slide.
