I didnt have any troubles with the P80. But I have read about a lot of reliability issues. I used OEM Glock parts in the frame, as was recommended. Some people are better with tools and doing precise work than others so I guess you have to factor that in. But some people I know that are very skilled said they had problems with P80s. Especially the trigger.
Still, I dont consider 80% anything to rise to the level of reliability you get with a factory made pistol. My EDC is a P365. I’ve been super happy with the Sig. I just bought a Dagger Micro. I’m going to give that a shot at being in my EDC rotation. It’s arriving tomorrow.
