She’s…not wrong. I did get it for home defense. It’s shorter and lighter than my other, so it’s the one I’d want her to grab if threatened. Not sure I can sell her on subsequent AR projects, however. 
She’s by no means a gun nut, but she watched about 3 minutes of an Honest Outlaw video on the Extar and said, “I really like that!” So there’s a potential b-day gift right there.
I soooooooooo want to order that but I’m leary of more than one FFL transfer a time …
Contrary to popular belief within the ATF at the moment, multiple FFL transfers at once are not a red flag. It’s a simple ■■■■■ off my property” and “I don’t answer questions” to deter them. Preferably have a camera rolling because it tends to keep both sides on their best behavior.
I’ve never done more than one at a time, because I’m poor :-). But now I’m wondering-does my LGS charge per item? It’s been $30 each time. If it’s $30 per item, I’d have to be ready for that.
It’s typically per item. Some places will offer a discount on the second transfer though. My favorite LGS has a stupid expensive transfer fee. $50 for the first firearm and $25 for additional. Most other places around here are a flat $25 per firearm.

it’s cheaper for me to do more than one: $35 for the first and then $15 for the each additional if done at the same time.
$20 is pretty standard around here unless you have a friends and family discount with your ffl.

Only problem I have with PSA’s great deals is…some of the guns I already bought from them before they were on sale…OR like when they give away 10 free mags with the AKV and I have only the three I purchased separately for mine 
My FFL originally was $30 per item for transfers, then after about the “severalath” one I shipped in and we became on first name basis and they had my phone number on speed dial, they started cutting me breaks on multiples…BUT SO SADLY…they recently closed up shop. They were Vet owned, I have used them for about the last 10 years and don’t have another FFL nearby that I really know. Haven’t transferred anything in since. So sad.
Sad indeed. The country is being destroyed both wholesale and one piece at a time.

My FFL says its all BS. He said all they do is they are required to fill out an additional form when multiple purchases are made. He said they do it all the time and you wont get on no red flag list.
If you do. Just do as mentioned above. Tell them “Get off my property” and dont speak or answer questions. Call the Sheriff and have them removed.
If they dont have a warrant, they cant do anything. They wont even be able to get a warrant because your purchases are legal. No judge will sign a warrant if no crime has been committed.

Also I was suppose to start my first AR build today. But stupid yard work, a stupid trip to the stupid dump and a trip to the stupid local community cardboard recycling bin stopped that. Stupid chores!
