Just pin them, yer still gonna want either a rear sight or some form of optic. If ya don’t have any yer gonna need mags & ammo as well. This setup does NOT come with a mag aor rear sight.

Excellent, I have mags and ammo. I’ll start looking at a rear sight. I want this to be a lightweight pick it up and go bang rifle. No extras, no bells or whistles. Just a “beater” I guess you could say.

You can always get a Sig 7s while they have them on sale $99… It comes with the lower 1/3 mounted, as well as the screws if you want to mount it go absolute co-witness, {you really need a Flattop to do this} I have both the Green dot and Red Dot versions mounted on my rifles.

I was looking for a second rifle. I have a M&p sport 2. And wanted to stick with the ar platform, for now.

I’m going to do both. Have some lowers coming soon. The order is stuck on “processing”. I thought building an AR15 was involved. It looks more like assembling to me after watching a video.

God, I love carry handle builds. My dad has a windham made bushmaster with carry handle that I’ll get one day when I inherit that collection. Was one of the first rifles I shot as a kid and it’s so damn beautiful.

Not to hijack to your thread but that upper that was shipped to your house, was there an outer box? Or did was it just the PSA box? I’m worried about the delivery company, porch pirates and the wife( lol).

Plain cardboard box. Everything I’ve bought from them so far is packaged well and you cant tell whats inside.

I bought another complete upper with lower parts kit. Wife asked “whats that”, I said with a boring voice “oh just parts”. She got disinterested and said “oh”. I left it laying against the wall all day where whe placed it. She just figured it was house parts or car parts or some other boring “guy thing”. After she went to sleep I slipped it in the safe lmfao. She forgot all about it.
Pro tip: Hide the Palmetto Armory stickers they send with each order. The more stickers they see, the more orders they know you’ve made.
