I don’t think so. Even with the H&R brand, there are soo many affordable, turkish, shotgun clones in the market right now, it is already oversaturated with both tactical and classic shotguns. There are even $200 M4 clones. It would be hard to meet or beat that price point with stateside manufacturing.
The H&R1871 Pardner pump 18.5" barrel $148. Basically a Remington 870. It is heavy, but has very little felt recoil as a result. Very sturdy gun. Barrel comes off in 5 seconds with no tools for easy cleaning. Build this, we don’t need no more fake ass tac tee cool toys.
A good clone of the Mossberg 500/590 and Remington 870 is all we really need
As far as Mossberg goes, it’ll be very difficult to beat the Maverick 88
Most of the Turkish clones are crap
In 2019, looked at the Maverick 88 when I bought the H&R. The Maverick was $199. So at $148, back then… I did read reviews for both before purchasing. If I remember correctly the Maverick came with two barrels for $229. I think one was short, other hunting length. But both good, solid hardware.

I love the 88, I had one for years. Now I have the 500 and wish I had the 88 again. The only real difference is the safety, and I prefer the barrel safety the 88 has.
The only Mossberg I have owned was a 1956 16ga bolt action, 3 Rd magazine fed. Paid $40 at gun shop. Later traded it in on brand new Rem 870 parkerized finish, wood stock. Beautiful gun. Gave it to my older brother. My brother passed away back in 2013, he is dearly missed.
Do something no one else does. Maybe like a line of no glare synthetic stock over unders or side by sides.

As everyone else is said it’s tough to beat a Mossberg maverick! With Palmetto State success in the AK game may be a Saiga 12 clone?
I want to see something like this 12 Gauge hand cannon, but even better… porting, sights, self extracting, over under…

however a psa version of a Judge may be cool.
I’d also like a psa version ar shotgun though if youre gonna have them doing shotguns.
I would definitely be interested in making it my first shotgun, if they did come out with a line up! But I’m still waiting on the day PSA comes out with there affordable Marksman Rifle(Sniper)!!

Yeah I was looking at a Turkish m4 clone @ $200 - $350 ish. But a Mossberg 930 is a few hundred more. I’m torn dish out a couple hundred for a clone or a few hundred for an 870.
If PSA could make an 8 Round 18” semi that would be sweet. Even better if it’s tactical aka snowflake melter. Lol.
