Prayers for the Forest Fire guys trying to save my/our range.
Out on the MC Wednesday - saw smoke - by our club - “that don’t look good” I said.
The winds picked up - fire blew up.
The FF’s saved our buildings and infrastructure…, so far .
Our Pinelands are a tinderbox - 40+ days no rain.
Winds kicking back above 20+ today - NOT GOOD !!
Hope they can keep it at bay. Fires like that can change direction and intensity real quick.
oh man, i hope they get it under control for you guys quickly. like GG said it can change real quickly… I’ll be praying for yall
The FF’s back burned away from our structures and infrastructure pretty quick The range being wide open didn’t contribute to the fire load + structures are away from the woods so that helped. The FF’s [Forest, County, and local FD’s did one hell of a job.
Bad news is - from multiple sources [our club has cameras all over] - some future state inmate shot a "dragons breath " S G shell and started it.
40+st day no rain. Winds 20-30 today. Fire danger at it’s highest.
Maybe getting a 1/10 in. rain on Sunday.
while dragons breath is an awesome shell, that was truly an idiot who did that. im sure they will find him and he’ll serve time sooner or later.
