I think Chick-fil-a’s IT department could have had this fixed already!!
I wonder if the people that all at once started hoarding toilet paper will start hoarding gas? Some people just can’t help themselves. Biden won’t get any blame at all even if it takes them weeks to fix it. In Biden’s defense though reading a teleprompter correctly is a hard enough job for him. We can’t expect too much from a senile old man.
Some of the more intelligent folks down here in Miami decided they all needed to top off yesterday because they got panicked. No lie - we went from a 3% fuel station outage to 30% at midnight last night.
Most of Florida doesn’t get fed by any pipeline. We get barges in Fort Lauderdale (Port Everglades) for most of the state’s gas; it gets trucked all over our nice, flat roads. A few other cities get barges and then also distribute - Tampa and Port Canaveral feed Orlando via pipeline, but there’s direct roads to back them up.
It just goes to show all of the the weak minded, TP hoarding, bass ackward thinking folks in their finest glory!
They’re the same type of people who caused ammo supplies to run dry and prices to skyrocket. I chatted with the cashier at the gas station this morning and she said they usually never went below 50% of their supply because they got normal deliveries. A bunch of people came with gas cans the past couple days and ran em dry. Basically they have no reserve and the people supplying them don’t have enough to top them off like they used to. If hoarding continues it will basically go straight from production to pump instead of to a reserve and prices will skyrocket.
The NC Health Department posted a comment on their Facebook page that people should only use approved containers. I have seen posts/memes of people filling IBC Totes and plastic trash bags with gas. That can’t be true. People can’t be that stupid. Never mind, yes they can.
My feelings exactly concerning the primer shortage!!
I would laugh like hell if she has to hit the brakes hard and that gas goes all in her car. She would never get that smell out.
