You have to be āin the business of gunsā to have an FFL. You cannot get it strictly for personal use.
That said, If you do get a kitchen table FFL for doing transfers, like I did, there arenāt many costs involved. You need a separate safe for business, a dedicated area for completing transfers, and security measures for your house. Everything else comes from the ATF, so no out of pocket expenses.
And yes, you can complete your own transfers if you have an FFL.
If you are in an isolated enough area, you probably wonāt have many customers other than who you decide to do transfers for. That said, once your license is shared with businesses, thereās no way to stop others from using you as their FFL of choice.
Youāre both right. It would be on the sending FFL to initiate the process of finding the package or starting a claim with USPS, however it is much easier for the receiving FFL to track it down or call the authorities locally to retrieve it. In most cases, the receiving FFL doesnāt have the particulars of the gun (make, model, serial, etc) until we receive it and open it to see whatās inside the box; but the sending FFL has all that information already in their book.

If youāre under 21, you got to wait 2 weeks to pickup your gun that you have already paid for.
Apparently this law was put into place to stop active shooters, murders and etc.

I just got this from the VA. How about hiring competent people and not just the cheapest you can find. Stop wasting money and spend more on veteranās care. I used to think people were exaggerating about the VA until my parents started using it. The old saying āThe VA, giving veterans a second chance to die for their countryā is spot on. I hope I never have to use them for anything serious.

**I am having an issue that Iāve seen in several chats that Iām going to vent about right here in hopes that somebody from PSA can help me out because this is extremely frustrating. I have attempted to make a purchase today nine times using three different laptops and two different telephones, and three different cards, two debit one credit and have gotten the message this is what it says exactly **Payment authorization rejection from the processor. this is ridiculous if this has happened to so many people, why are you guys allowing it to continue? Why havenāt you done whatever youāve needed to do to correct the issue I have never heard of a website based company like this having this many issues with customers Iām trying to make a purchase, and this is hindering me from doing so nothing is more frustrating. I need answers. I need some help. I need somebody to reply and help me out Iāve called you guys three times and I get the old take a screenshot then call us back and tell us what itās doing.
