Good cheap drop in slide release/stop?

anyone have a suggestion?
anyone put one of these in?https://palmettostatearmory.com/tyrant-designs-glock-extended-slide-release-stop-gen-2-4-gold-td-gstop-24-gold.html ?

Haven’t used that product from that but I have used several other Tyrant CNC things. They make good stuff. Never been a fan of the extended slide stops with my high grip so there’s only one specific model I use for that. The Ghost BFS.

I like this one it’s close to factory looks but has enough added for my thump to grip it.

Big fan of Tyrant Designs. Use their stuff on all my Glock/Glock clone builds, especially the extended slide release. Wanting to try the new Gen2 stuff now it’s all been reased.

I have a Strike Industries extended mag release (wrong, I don’t know the brand, maybe it is Tyrant) because I wanted a red one. The spring on Gen3 Glock 19 turns out to be very different from a Dagger and it didn’t work until I replaced the glock style spring with the Dagger one. Daggers and Gen 3 Glock 19 do not have same number of pins so spring rests in a different place. Maybe your Tyrant spring is bent so it works for both.

Interested now in Tyrant Designs since it sounds like their mag release works in a Dagger. I have a Tyrand Designs G3 Glock trigger and bar assembly, again because I wanted red. The Tyrant trigger bar is wrong for a Dagger and you end up with a rather dangerous and unpredictable binary trigger. I put the Dagger trigger bar in and all is well.

The lesson: a dagger is not an exact Glock 19 Gen 3 clone and not all G3 G19 parts will interchange flawlessly with Dagger parts. Trial and error sometimes seem needed, or research on forums like this one, where I have picked up much valuable information.

The smart-aleck answer to your question is: the one the factory put in. :cowboy_hat_face: Although this might sometimes be true.

That is a common thing I see. Swapping trigger components without checking the insides out, assembled, with an armorers backplate to see how it all interfaces. People are ASKING for issues doing it like that.
Even an OEM Glock can have those issues if it’s not doubled checked that things like cruciform and connector engagement are as they should be.

Just because components CAN be drop in, doesn’t mean they will be, even if labeled so.
