H&R Model 265 .22LR

Found this little piece of the Original Harrington and Richardson history early this afternoon.

Model 265 .22 Long Rifle Bolt Action Magazine fed Rifle.

Interesting features. Made only from 1948-1950 in this configuration and with a GI Style Walnut Stock with Sling Swivels.

Included a Model correct Weaver x4 Power B6 Scope in working order.

The 10 Round Magazine is a WWII carry over from the Semi-Auto M65 .22LR Training Rifle…the Markings say " Reising. 22LR"…connect the dots on that name and H&R.

Condition is about 85%…No Chips or Damage… minor finish wear.

These Magazines are getting $80 a shot on fricking Ebay.

I dig that scope.

Back then they weren’t afraid to mix form with the function.

I absolutely agree.

I was taken by this one the moment I saw the Stock. I had to be careful as to not look too excited about it as I making a low ball offer on it.
