Couldn’t find a thread for hunting. Maybe I missed it. I got my 300 BO for mainly hog hunting. But will use on song dogs and deer too. This is my first hog taken with it. It was -5° the day I got him. I’m running an Omega 9k can on it.

Nice one, I wonder if the BO is popular in Texas where they have to take out practically herds of those hogs.

I take mine to a stand where i haave a 75yrd max shot. 300blk with 208gr hornady subs and a YHM 30LT can.

Don’t worry too-much about those herds of Tejas (and Oklahoma, Kansas, and Missouri!) feral hogs - people will just release More if you get ‘em all.
It’s too big of a business for them to Not!

I think they probably use more 5.56 than anything since they do so much shooting and have so many hogs. Pluse 5.56 is cheaper than BO. I prefer 6.8 SPC over anything for hogs. Wish they would make a Jakyl in it.

Yeah that makes a lot more sense. Plus most of the ones I seen were not huge anyway.
