I scored this for $25.00 never saw one before

So I what is it? 1911 .45acp to .22lr conversion. No name. A nice man sold it to me for $25.00 he said it was his dads but it just sits in the safe.
I can’t wait to try it out as it is just cool. I assume I will have to manually cycle the bore is off center low but it is rifled.
Any one ever see something like this?

It works!I fired a few Colibri no gun powder rounds from 15’ Definitely cool toy!

Simple solution how they just dropped the bore so a standard firing pin would hit the rim.

I bet it would at least try to cycle with some spring changes. The lack of locking lugs on the barrel help in that regard.

I never seen one before either! I have a Kimber conversion w/two mags and runs great on a Colt and Tisas frame. My question is will those inserts roll L/R with a full mag when running it? Cool inexpensive piece on your part tho.

Nice find. I have never seen one of those before. Probably worth way more than you paid for it. :sunglasses:

The .22 is centered in cartridge so no roll
