Just like with the Ballester Molina the Buenos Aires police had some of the 1927 Sistemas converted to .22 LR for training using the same floating chamber as the Colt Ace. Here is one of those and then a picture of my Argentine family.

I had no idea bout the .22 conversions. have you shot the pistol? did it function well ? very nice Argentinian family, i wouldnt mind adopting a few of them myself
I have shot a few rounds with no issues. I assume like most .22 rimfires they are ammo sensitive.
yeah my 1911-22 by SIg i.e. GSG can be quite finicky… seems like most .22 pistols are.
