If you had to have a .22LR for defense

Yep, I saw it for $94 recently. I still kick myself for walking away from the gun displays in stores years ago with the Marlin model 60 selling for $60 … Back then, I’d say, ‘I ain’t giving them no $60 for that Plain Jane Marlin .22!’ Now, of course I realize that I was a dumbass…

I think that some of the Winchester .22 lever actions from back in the 70’s which probably were dirt cheap back then, now go for several thousand dollars.

You are correct sir!

Mine is this model

Oddball thread pitch on my Barrel

Pre 64 case hardened 94’s Yuuup $!!!

How do you type and keep from pulling the boresnake out at an angle?

How do you like that RIA? I sent one back without accepting the TXFR, entirely too much didn’t match the description. Please tell it’s a Meh…

My model sucks Harold! PERIOD! FAIL TO FEED. And two cap screws to remove pic rail upper to get access to the BCG. If it’s scoped…gotta remove it first.

Hate it for you but glad I followed my gut.

Copy that…your gut lead you in about face!

I wonder what makes one less of a runner than the other?Materials ,bcg, mfg techniques, ammo?

Sometimes it’s a great mystery brother. Satisfactory answer is unavailable on my account

You can always throw yours towards your target.

Season 2 Reaction GIF by Parks and Recreation

I stick with the theory of mine that bad ones are built after lunch on Friday and before lunch on Monday!

Does that apply to Turkee?

I wonder whether the other one would be any better. I think I remember reading somewhere that it uses a different mag that won’t work in the one you have.
Edit: Disregard I shot the other one at The Gathering last year and it couldn’t make it through three rounds.

Turkiye! I think that is stamped on the SAR pistols.

I got my plain jane 10/22 for 189.00 I think it was. We all know how they work. I bet 10/22 will even eat those Aguila 22s that and the Marlin 60 shot anything.

Copy that! Not to kick all Turks in the technicals…Tiasa 1911A1 clone is absolutely a smile maker 45 or 22 conversion on my part Other operators will concur.

My Tisas 57x is awesome really well made and tight tolerances. Enjoy it when I can afford to shoot it. My Rock Island made in Philippines 1911 is well made also, rough around the finish but works every time.

Kimber 22 slide on a Tisas frame

Wow that is awesome looking handgun. Two tone looks great, did you just buy the Kimber slide? Or have it around?

Long time family friend brother man. Only came with one mag, gotta extra. Graced my Colt 70 frame back a few.
Oh! I’ve done this too. Tisas 45 slide on a Colt frame…vs.. vs. Not one hiccup!
But the 22 is soo much fun on the wallet.
Thanx Thomas
