IS it a GF5 or a GF3 how do I know for sure

We screwed up your order as well as the repair and we fall on our sword. On behalf of PSA I sincerely apologize for everything that happened. We are building you a brand new GF5 that has the correct barrel on it, and will be sending it out. We also will be sending you a $200 PSA gift card due to the inconvenience. @sean.psa will be calling regarding bringing the original firearm back in. Again, we apologize and want to make this right.

Thank you,

Josiah

I’m about to cry about this. I started in June, its August and I still don’t have the correct firearm in my hands. I haven’t fired a round yet. Every time I send it back it cost me another $25 Plus in FFL fees to get it back. Is it the wood Furniture on the firearm that throws everyone off. If I had my choice of GF5’s I like really like the PSAK-47 GF5 FORGED CHF RAILED MOE ALG RIFLE better then the Reverse Dong Polish style, its just never been available. How do I get this fixed this time? :disappointed_relieved: :sob:

Has @sean.psa called you yet? If not, talk to him when he calls.

Thank you, yes I talked to Sean a few minutes ago. We’ll get this sorted. Thank you, for asking and thank you to everyone that has been helping. I am dyeing to try this unit out, but between raining on weekends and waiting for the correct unit its been months. I haven’t fired one 7.62 round yet, I look forward to the day I can.

They have had my 74 for 3 months and will NOT respond to calls, chat, emails, or Facebook messages to 2 psa employees. I have bought quite a bit from them but have a really bad taste in my mouth on this warranty issue. Paid $1100 for a rifle, didn’t get 20 rds through it, sent the POS back and they wrote me off, im wondering if they are becoming scammers with all their success, I have quite a few buddies that are holding off on any further purchases until they see how I make out. Right now I am feeling scammed.

So the facebook PSA employees didn’t help at all? Try sending a certified letter covering what has gone on and state that you either need a firm date that you will have your 74 back or you will declare the gun stolen and call it in to PSAs local police. I had to do that to a shotgun I had sent off to another gun shop. They were not answering calls after they had the gun, and had it 6 times longer than had been advertised. It worked and I got it back.

@Joshlovesguns may be able to help.

Send me your order number and/or the RMA number they gave you to write on the box. I’ll try and figure out whats going on with it and get back to you this morning with an update.

This just happened to my husband. Went in store to buy a GF5. Serial number matched GF5, but when we got home, we saw the GF3 stamp on the trunnion. Also, the barrel is missing the FN marking that the GF5 has. So the AK has the serial number and SKU on the box for the GF5, but is marked as a GF3 and is missing the FN marking on the barrel.

Called PSA customer service a good 17 times, no one was ever available and it would just hang up on me. Tried the chat, no agent was available. Filled out the contact form, and received a reply from Gray saying this is ā€œmost likely an incorrect engravingā€ of GF3 and that we could ship the gun to ā€œcorrectā€ the wrong engraving of GF3. Replied to him to tell him that I strongly believe we have the wrong gun and that this is a GF3 with the incorrect serial number of a GF5 due to the missing FN symbol on the barrel. No response yet

We paid $1k for the GF5, we want the GF5.

Send it in, and they will fix it. Make sure you send it with all that came with it and a copy of the receipt stating that you do indeed want a GF5 instead of a GF3. They will inspect the whole gun to make sure it is correct.

i just keep ordering a gf3 hoping they will accidentally send me your gf5
