So really debating on ordering a dagger when I have the money however I love to make informed purchases.that being said how has everyone that bought one feel about? it has anyone put some rounds through the firearm?does it function good?and is there any issues anyone has had with it?I love palmetto and will continue to support them look forward to hearing about it
My son and I have both put some rounds through our Daggers. Both have performed well and we have both been accurate with them, dare I say more accurate than with my Glocks. Maybe I just try harder with the Dagger!
But I will say they are most definitely comparable to the G19 they are cloned from.
My two cents:
I have 2 Daggers, both of them had the walking trigger pin issue. one I fixed by pushing the pin in and out and it has stayed put, the second I sent to PSA and they fixed. This was/is a common issue that PSA has taken care of. I have put at least 500+ round through each one of them with a few failure to eject and feed issue which were steel case ammo issues. I use brass 115 FMJ blazer or federal training ammo with no issue, I have put 2 mags of critical defense threw them and no issues.
I know there are a few people with issues about the way the rifling looks, keep in mind these are $300-$400 guns.
I will be purchasing at least one more in there near future.
below is 2 15 round mags at 7 yards as quick as I could
I liked the first one so much I bought a second one. Never experienced the trigger pin issue.
great gun . dropped an apex trigger in it and now its even better !!!
Do it. I used mine at a competition last weekend, ran flawlessly.
Is that a good trigger that will be the first upgrade I want to do to it
Sweet I’m excited should have mine ordered by the end of the week
Apex is a great trigger system. easy to install and it has a short crisp break and a short reset. makes the gun much better and fun to shoot. The factory one is glockish and mushy . also timney makes a really cool drop in assembly for the gens 1-3 that works pretty nice also . I put one in my 31 . even Johnny Glock bragged them up for there Enginuity on the new concept .
yes they are good triggers and a very good upgrade.
I got a Dagger last June. I was very excited to get the gun. The reviews I saw were good. However, It’s had 500 rounds through it and it fails to extract and feed. Getting a response from the correct department has been a ridiculous task. I’m dissatisfied with the service to this point. I was told someone would contact me with the information I need to send my pistol in to get repaired. It’s been over 6 months since I started trying to get this fixed and two weeks since I submitted my last claim and no one has tried to contact me by phone or email. I’m very dissatisfied. So, my opinion is this: Don’t buy a Dagger, they won’t honor their warranty.
Lets see if @mattbbb14 can help you out.
