i cant agree with them both any more than i am already… so much truth… and denzel, man he’s got it down pat hard core!! I wish folks would listen to him and do stuff about it from his point of view. but no, its too much to ask these days. . he’s damn right though.

it does, but theres been studys done about the destruction of the black family… the black family always had a father mother and kids as a unit that ws pretty solid until the 60’s roughly… which is when folks started to split the black family apart via drugs, and other means. its been over a decade since i studied all that so i can t remember it all now but the nuclear family was very strong among blacks for the longest of times, until the democrats found it was better for them to be dependent upon the government, and the only way to really do that was to split the family unit. its very sad and i was taken aback by all that i learned on this…
I do believe that children have to be taught right and wrong from their parents. Not the school teachers, LEO, Judges and the legal system. The family unit has broken down in every single ethnicity regardless of social status. It may be more prevalent in the black community but make no mistake it is expanding at a rapid rate in all ethnicities.
The lack of religion and kids not being taught to value human life is also a huge problem in this Country. The government’s attack on any religion especially Christians is another major problem in this Country. Gangs, drugs, video games, rap music, the entertainment industry and the media are indoctrinating our kids and teaching them that life is cheap. When there isn’t a positive role model for kids growing up then gangs become the negative role model reinforcing that life is cheap.
For many of us in our 50’s and older not only did we have our parents and our family members we also had our neighborhoods that helped raise us. If a neighbor saw you doing something wrong you were lucky if they didn’t cut your butt and when you got home the neighbors had already called your parents and you got your butt cut again. In todays society everone looks the other way and doesn’t get involved. I read about a lady that was getting raped on one of the subway system and not one person in that subway car did anything to stop it even when she was screaming and begging for help. What kind of society have we become when we see murders and other violent crime and nobody wants to get involved. I can go on but I think that we all can agree without our Lord being an integral part of our society things are only going to get worse. With everything going on all around the world today we are in the end times. If you can read your bible and not see that then you are deluding yourself. I wouldn’t want to be a person today who didn’t know the Lord and have a relationship with him.
