Jakl 9mm price point

I wonder what price point they will have cinsidering the AR-v is very competative on pricing and that its direct blowback too. Im guessing 1200ish or less

As soon as its on the website i will let you know.

i’d bet it would be comprable to other jakls maybe 1099 or so… give or take.. on sale.

They really dropped the ball by making this with direct bb. They themselves already have multiple guns that would directly compete. Isn’t the operating system a main selling point for the jakl line? Whats next? A jakl 9 that takes glock mags? I love psa’s willingness to try try new things, especially at the prices they charge. But this is a major let down. If its any more than $700 ( which it will be) it wont be worth it. Just a pretty direct bb that takes scorpion mags, like my arv

Already out, $1000-1049 depending on how it’s dressed.

And the jakl is not just a direct blow back. It is a hybrid AR/AK.

Do you have a pic of one tore down? I assumed it would look more like a MAT9 than anything.

I dont, but to my knowledge it is like the 5.56 and 300blk jakls.

I, too, was sad to see that it is direct blowback.

Kinda sorta l reckon other than the bolt?

Oh l just seen your reply
@st3phen

Unless there’s an actual gas tube coming off the 6.5-inch barrel, it seems what we’d consider the piston on any other JAKL is more of a guide rod here, and we’re indeed looking at a direct blowback system. (For example, I don’t see any rollers on that bolt.)

Yet, the JAKL 9 costs about the same as a roller-delayed Stribog.

this didn’t delay the X57 tho right?? idk who shows up to that show in vegas i was so close to going this last year as i was in middle of a move that had me drive through a few times. i wanted to say “sup”, but then emphasize i really want the X57.. it’s hyped up like when i was kid for the n64… goldeneye!

If it’s like the other JAKLs the CH is reversible.

With all these iterations of blow back nines I’m starting to wonder about PSA getting a Hi-Power rep.

Nah. No worries. The jakl is completely different which most people forget. They only want roller or delayed because they are keyboard commandos who dont have real world experience.

I am sorry, little confused but I think the price point is pretty awesome and is on my list for the next year. Now I bought my MP5 clone for about 1300, the Jakl 9 looks so much tougher than the MP5. I guess I just don’t have much of a fight in the 2 different systems since they both work absolutely fine. Yeah my clone MP5 has zero practical recoil is that the issue between the two? The Jakl is a much heavier recoil spring and all around heavier SMG. To make it practical for most shooters needs to be under 1000 dollars.

looks like everyone’s confused.. one of those “had to be there to get it” moments at shot show.. my take on it is: basically a bufferless arv??

I want a delayed blowback pcc not only for the recoil reduction but because it also suppresses better (source to back up my experience: reddit).
