Pathetic that Afroman has done more for Your Rights than <99% of our Elected Representatives over the past two decades.

Yeah -in 1992 the Govt banned smoking in bldgs. I was stationed at Keesler AFB. All the smokers got 10 minutes per hour smoke break outside.
I did the math 8 x 10 = 80 minutes or an hour and 20 minutes.
80min x 5 days = 400 minutes or 6 hours and 40 minutes.
So on that Thursday, I told the branch chief that I donât smoke so Iâm taking every friday off since went on duty early and left late sometimesâŚ
He said well it doesnât work that way. I told him yes the F it does, Iâll see you on MondayâŚ
You canât have a bad day at work if you donât go. Head out to the lake or the range.
âSmokers canât be Denied their Addictionâ⌠20 Smokes in a Pack⌠2-Pack-a-Day habit ⌠I know this Game. Iâve Dealt with this kind of crap my entire working life.
Itâs been a long day (WEEK!). Iâve been trying to teach my Helper as much, and as well as I can.
New Transformer (and panel being fed by it):
Weâve got to move the access-door into the Robot Cage on the Engel 240. Engel has been virtually NO help, and this is a <2 years old machine.
I and my Boss managed to find parts numbers for SOME of the Enclosure pieces we needed, but somehow, this narrow window-piece eluded the people who actually built the damned machine:
So I made it myself. No, the paint isnât a Match. At this point, I donât give a
. More pics when they let me have the machine, and put it all together. The window is a 200mm-class (itâs not actually 200mm), the wider, white-and-grey window next to it is a 750mm-class, it still has the protective film on the lexan.
I have been trying to clean up an utter disaster of conduit just going willy-nilly, doubling-back on itself (TWICE! in one instance!), and a search for Neatness, overhead space, and Modularity.
The above conduit, I got above the support-beams, on the same plane as the âZâ-bar, and have installed large junction boxes at key areas. The boxes are deep-enough that, conduit enters âhighâ running N-S, and I can change directions E-W âlowâ and run tight, perpendicular to the Z-bar. Lots of large-diameter conduit going up to the boxes, and in-between them serve as ad-hoc âguttersâ, making a wire pull substantially easier, and re-pulls actually Possible, when machines change position/are replaced.
Note darker fire-sprinkler-line above - itâs strange not-straight-line shape was to clear a ridiculously-oversized Injection Machine that nearly reached the ceiling, now gone. (THANKFULLY!)
Iâve got machines that I have been compelled to move multiple times - I see no indications this behavior of whimsical-changes will cease, even with Management changes, and laying and bending hundreds of feet of new Conduit under time-constraints has gotten Old. Because IâM getting Old. So Modularity is becoming my New âCatchphraseâ. And so is my Conduit PathwayâŚ
The day after Memorial Day it will be 2 years for me.
