Always have rubbing alcohol at the ready. Its not the poison in the bits or or the dirt in the scrape abrasions, but the flesh eating bacterea that will slowly kill you.

I keep a spray bottle of 91% beside the bed and love the stuff. I guess for my germ phobia
I keep a half gallon jug of Caliber Vodka next to my Sleep Apnea Machine, exclusively as a sanitizer for the water reservoir. Each evening before bed the reservoir is dry, so a small trickle of Vodka with 4 parts purified water keeps the machine disinfected much longer between cleanings. Also if you feel you ate somthing that you may have self contaminated (forgot to wash your hands), 1 shot without a chaser will disinfect you stomach content. Only $10 at WalyMrt triple filtered
