Kel-Tec pr57

Okay mods gimme the ole ban hammer if not allowed here, but what in the holy hell is this?!

Kel-Tec has an internal magazine stripper-clip-fed 5.7x28 pistol they’re putting out?!!?!? It’s also SUPER lightweight. Absolutely the lightest 5.7 pistol ever and it’s not even close. Just a smidge under 14 ounces according to KT.

I’m glad someone else saw this. For most of the video, it seems good. When they used the stripper clip, I started laughing and said “of course, because it’s Keltec”.

From the ad, “…from the board room to the back country…” I’m sorry, but if an exec in your company is rocking a Kel-Tec, you need to get the resume polished up because y’all are going out of business.

Not if your business is selling crack to Kel-Tec engineers!

Well I mean they keep getting my money so I guess I’m really dumb, but it’s just so wild!

For the record by they I mean Kel-Tec not the Kel-Tec engineer enhancement pharmaceutical division.

American Rifleman TV had a good review of Kel Tec and their 5.7

I guess if you live somewhere that doesn’t allow detachable magazines maybe.

^^^^This.

It’s aimed at BanStates.

I think what would have been Cool, and Very Keltec - would have been a modern-day interpretation of a C96 Broomhandle Mauser. THAT would totally have been in character for them.

To be honest I have spent $400 on stupider things.

It doesn’t seem like it circumvents the bans in most states.

I’ve heard washington mentioned, but they started working on this before that ban even existed.

Also, I would 10000000000000000% buy a 5.7 c96, and it would be my EDC, damn the man!

For the life of me, I will never understand why people insist on naming these things after the 5.7 cartridge and then calling them fifty-seven. Why would you ever do that? How does it make any sense? Why does it piss me off so much when it doesn’t matter at all?

What I wonder is, how effective will it be on a bad guy dosed with adrenaline?

Probably has something to do with the POINT 4 5 being called a forty-five.

I mean at least that’s caliber and not millimeter, Just like .223 or .40. But if people started calling 5.56 five fifty six everyone would agree it’s dumb as hell.

As generally effective or ineffective as most other handgun calibers.

Shot placement > caliber
