Loose olight Baldr mini

Hi there, I’m new to these forums and have been searching for an answer with no luck.

Just attached my light to the dagger to zero it and found the process to be very easy, however the light seems to be very slightly loose so it won’t hold zero.

I was hoping someone had some tips or personal experience with this combo.

Thanks in advance for any ideas.

@goingsolarnow welcome to the forums!

im not sure about your issue though so i’ll have to let someone else answer.

Im confused when you say it wont hold zero…is the light a laser also?

FWIW, i have seen lots of problems with olights. The cheapest i go with a WML is Streamlight.

Yes, it’s a lazer/flashlight combo.

I’d read some good and bad about it, then watched a video with a guy beating hell out of it in between magazines with no problems so thought I’d try it out.

I’ll play around with it some more this weekend and decide where to go from there.

Thanks for the recommendation.

The baldr mini should have come with different adapters that you can change to give you a tighter fit for different rail types. Find the adapter that works best for you and it will eliminate the slack.

Thanks, it came with 2, but the second one is too large for the gap it’s meant to fill on the gun.

The installed one is the gl version and the one that’s too large is the 1913 version.

I just tried tightening the side screw that holds the spring lock more to see if that would help, but no luck.

Who knows, maybe something is out of tolerance or something.

You can always file the 1913 version until it fits. I would change that before changing anything on the gun.

Thanks, that’s something I’ll keep in mind if I can’t figure it out.
