Some time ago, I ordered a PSA GF3 and eventually bought an MOEkov furniture set to go along with it as an upgrade to the original’s furniture (I bought one of the blem rifles, which is why I didn’t have it originally). However, the stock has had a long-running issue where it loosens severely after only a few shots being taken. The screw which sinks into the rear trunnion backs out, and loctite didn’t really help. Any suggestions for fixing the issue, or is the stock just not a good option and in need of replacement?
I’m no gunsmith,but if working on cars for 25 years taught me anything its ;if it’s working free after only a few rounds then either A. It isn’t fastened securely. B. The fasteners are the wrong size/thread pitch. C. The Fasteners are worn. D. The machining isn’t proper on the rifle or the furniture. I would run a thread chaser on the rifle, if that doesn’t work tap it . Or if there’s no risk of interference with the internals run longer screws and toss a nut and some kind of locking washer AND threadlocker and hope that shirt don’t come loose during operation…or maybe run the screw from the inside of the rifle so that the small parts are not inside the rifle and therefore if they fail will do so without dropping a nut and washer into where they would otherwise do damage

How is loctite not keeping it in? Post some pics also.
I have a zhukov stock on my AKV. The fitment is not the best, but I have not experienced the screw backing out. I’m surprised loctite isn’t effective.
I completely forgot to check back in for the post replies on this thread - I’ll post some pictures later when I’m back at the house. I don’t have too much in the way of diagnostic equipment to measure threads or pitch, but it seats pretty well when I’m not shooting so I imagine the screws are right.
Sorry for the late images, but it’s the screw on the left. The screw, with threads and loctite shown, is in the bottom image. There was a bunch of loctite gunk in the threads, but it wasn’t actually locked to any meaningful degree. Came out without any effort, like usual.
Scrape that gunk out and use blue loctite.
Anything special about the blue stuff?
You can remove it easier if necessary.

Gotcha gotcha. I’ll give everything a good scrub with some brass brushes and get all the garbage out that I can. My original stock set didn’t come with a certain fastening part and when I requested a replacement from PSA they just sent me a whole new stock set - I could also try using that new stock instead of this one and see if it’s an issue with fitment on the stock side instead of the screw. I’ll try loctite first though, just to narrow down the issue as precisely as I can.
