New to AKs. I would like to replace the stock on my GF3. Will this work?

Not familiar with that stock so cant say for sure…but be careful with promag. They make some good stuff, and some junk.

watched their installation video for it and they talked about different types of receivers and how the stock mount. I need to go back and watch it again. Didn’t make a lot of sense to me.
Personally i would save up and get one of the magpul options.
Magpul is fine but what i found was that they are fixed. i would like an adjustable stock. the buffer tube adapter that PSA sells has been out of stock for a while now. I’ll keep looking to see if someone else makes something similar.

The magpul Zhukov-s is adjustable.

If you have a fixed wooden stock on your AK….it looks like a direct replacement. If you have something other than that….examine your AK, while watching the video. Anything folding is different from a fixed stock.

i got that same stock for my gf3 in odg for the same reasons… i haven’t tried putting it on yet tho, because from the photos i thought the stock buttock was bigger than it is… if you do want bigger than it looks like a good option. i heard some people having to file it down a little to get a flush fit but idk what ak they were even using.
edit: plus it has a more modern look, the magpul folding ones also have an appealing aesthetic that also work on the same backend im told but don’t let you shoot when folded
i like their polymer adaptations especially on my 10/22… but tbh i never use their magazines after the ar47 tests.
Some stuff is ok…the mags and the tactical mosin crap are junk though.

I have a Mosin I put on an Archangel - it’s a pretty good stock, and the Timney goes along nicely with it. (kept all the original parts safe)
I also have a matching No.’s Hex-receiver that I just take out to fondle and shoot with now and again.
I have no visions of Retiring on the profit were I to sell either of them.

I replaced the stock on my gf3 with Magpul Zhukov-s. It is adjustable and folding. The rifle is firable even when the stock is folded.
They can be pricey but more than well worth it.

I did that with mine. No adapters. Removed the ‘factory’ stock on my GF3 and replaced it with the Magpul Zhukov-s.
