Just noticed today that PSA sells a AKV rifle with a Zhukov folding stock. I’ve never seen this stock on a AKV before and was wondering is it easy to change out a AKV pistol triangle brace to the Zhukov folding stock. Hoping it will be a easy switch. Any info will be appreciated.

Fits great on my AK-V SBR. One of the better options on the market for an AK stock in my opinion.

Folds right. Covers the safety but clears the charging handle and bolt carrier.

I had an M4 stock on with an adapter before. Worked great as well but I wanted the option to fold.

Easy change by removing the rear trunion. Folds to the right. Wish magpul would make a left fold.

Title says pistol. OP used the rifle pic to show the stock. It sounds like he may want to put it on a pistol?
I’m not bickering, just trying to help keep anyone out of trouble.
On a side note that I’ve never mentioned. Has anyone noticed the amount of “SBRs” in the PSA reviews? I know lots of them dont have a stamp simply from not knowing what they just did.

Gotcha. Armslist is filled with pistols with VFGs, which by definition of the ATF is an SBR.

It sucks that I have to spend $200 for a stamp plus the $150 for the Zhukov stock. The only time it would be a issue is if the ATF just so happened to be at a gun range and or just come to the house.
I know of a lot of gun owners really don’t care of what is legal vs what is illegal and just do what they want as they use the 2nd amendment as the reasoning which I can’t argue with. I would think local and state laws would be more to watch out for than the ATF. Luckily I live in a red state. I know a gun owner without a stamp and a VFG and firmly doesn’t care that they are “breaking the law”

The crazy this is if a you get over 26" with a pistol you can have a VFG iirc. Over that length its just a firearm.
On here we cant tell you to break the law or advocate for breaking it.
