My new AK-V! Question about lower handguard

Hey everyone! I bought the AK-V with TDI lower handguard, and I have a couple of questions.

In the stock pic, it shows that the lower handguard looks like it is not inline with the barrel, but cants at an angle. On a couple of the other stock pics, it shows almost like it is straight. On my pistol, it is indeed canted like the one stock pic (my pic isn’t very good, but you can make out a slight cant).

Is this normal, or is there something amiss? If I were to mount a light to the lower handguard, it wouldn’t be straight inline and would cant upwards.

Extremely hard to tell from your pic. Based on the stock pic, that is not enough for me to worry about mounting a light. It’s not going to throw the light off enough to make a difference. You can always try to align the rail yourself by taking it off and putting it back on.

i agree with GuitarGuy.

i’d try the remove and reinstall manuever to see if it works
